Community
Capital Development (CCD)
is an economic development organization composed
of three sister 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
formed in 1997. The three organizations are
legally distinct, but share staff, operate
in the same office space, and do business
collaboratively under the trade name of Community
Capital Development.
Seattle
Economic Development Association (SEDA)
is the overall administrative and strategic
planning arm of CCD. SEDA administers our
USDA IRP fund and our SBA 7(a) Microloan Fund.
Seattle Economic Development Fund
(SEDF) is a certified Community Development
Financial Institution (CDFI) since 1998 and
administers a $6 million loan fund through
various programs. The mission of a CDFI is
to promote lending and economic opportunities
to under-served populations and areas.
Seattle Business Assistance Center
(SBAC) provides small business consulting
services, training and networking. SBAC operates
three Women's Business Centers (Washington Business
Center, the South Sound Washington Business Center and the Northwest Women’s
Business Center), Procurement Technical Assistance
Center (PTAC), and the Washington Statewide
Minority Business Enterprise Center (MBEC).
